Austria

Austria, officially the Republic of Austria, is a country in the southern part of Europe. It has been a member of the United Nations since 1955 and of the European Union since 1995. The biggest city is Vienna and it’s also the capital of the country. It is bordered by eight other countries: Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The population is about 9 million people. The official language is German.
